Comfort during your stay
Respite guests enjoy the same facilities as our permanent residents. Your room will be en suite, and some rooms look out across the estuary towards Plymouth. There’s a lift to every floor, free WiFi throughout, a spacious dining room and comfortable lounges — everything you need to feel settled and at home from the moment you arrive.
Our fully trained staff are chosen for their warmth and sensitivity, and our Manager, Becky Solomon, and her team will make sure your stay is relaxed and reassuring. Family and friends are welcome to visit, and we can help arrange a FaceTime or voice call whenever you’d like to stay in touch.
Join in — as much or as little as you like
There’s always plenty going on, and respite guests are welcome to take part in whatever they enjoy. That might be weekly pamper sessions with our visiting hairdresser and chiropodist, arts and crafts, gentle exercise, weekly entertainment, or one of our regular outings to the seaside, garden centres for a cream tea, or local shopping arcades. Life at Rowan House is all about choice, so you can be as involved as you wish.
